Bitcoin Games First impressions

Bitcoin.com’s Roger Ver sure thought of everything when he designed Bitcoin.com, ensuring that visitors who’d come to read news and participate in the forums would also have a place to gamble their Bitcoins at.

No registration is necessary so you won’t waste precious seconds getting your gambling fix at Bitcoin Games. Anonymous gambling rates highly on our list!

Bitcoin Games (accessible at games.bitcoin.com) is an example of good coding and is one of the few gambling portals that also offers an API so gamblers can set their own bots to play there or even port any of their games to their own website to take advantage of referral commissions. The fact that close to a hundred players are online and very recent big bets displayed at the leaderboards at any given time shows that this place still has its fair share of gamblers, a testament to the long-term benefits of clean scripts that focus on fast and seamless gaming.

We like the lightweight games that makes the gambling experience very pleasant, although some of the colour schemes like on Keno could do with a bit of customisation options so they go easier on the eye.

Gameplay

There’s not much in the way of fancy at any of the seven games on offer at Bitcoin Games but that’s a good thing for us. Anyone familiar with the typical casino games of Blackjack, Keno, Roulette, Craps, Slots and Video Poker should be able to settle in right-away. There’s even a typically crypto gambling Dice game to sink your teeth into.

All the games claim at least a remarkable 99% expected payout. As can be expected, they are transparent about the house edge, starting at an impressively low 0.2% for Craps and only as high as 1% for Roulette, Keno and Slots. All wagers contribute to an individual Jackpot for each game, which can be won by achieving certain winning combinations that are all detailed in a comprehensive Help section available for all games.

Gameplay is, by default, completely anonymous: as soon as you enter, you are assigned a random username and allocated a secret URL which you are urged to save if you don’t want to lose access to your deposits! If you prefer, you can also choose to set your own username and password from Account settings (we always recommend you do this!).

Payments and Bonuses

There are no forms of bonuses or even a loyalty program at Bitcoin Games, although that doesn’t seem to deter Bitcoin whales from playing. You can dip your toes into the water by playing with Test Mode credits before committing your own Bitcoins.

When you do, you’ll be happy to know that balances show up immediately after spending your Bitcoins. Withdrawals are almost as speedy, first requiring all previous deposits to be confirmed at least twice. You’ll be charged a small 0.0001 BTC fee.

There aren’t any limits published on minimums or maximums, and there doesn’t even seem to be any staggered payment rule if you win the Jackpot (the largest now is over 200 BTC) unlike other sites. A peek at the leaderboard also shows the top player winning just why of 6,000 BTC (including big 20 BTC wins recorded very recently), although there’s no way of knowing what nett winnings were as no wager records are shown.

We’ll just assume Bitcoin.com is big and wealthy enough to be able to honour such withdrawals!

Bitcoin Games Summary

Apart from the unfortunate restrictions for US players (a by-product of Bitcoin.com’s business affiliations and compliance measures) and those from Iran, North Korea and Syria (political leanings, anyone?), Bitcoin Games represents one of the best examples of how a bitcoin gambling site should look like: fast, anonymous and fuss free.
